The Wombats remixed by The Touch

“Though early shows were as much alcohol-fueled dadaesque performance art as anything else (the three members dressed in jester’s outfits and singing songs with titles like “Ode to Charles the Goat”), the trio quickly progressed into a spiky blend of danceable indie rock, Murph’s sardonic lyrics, and high-energy pop hooks.”

… and then they got pretty famous, recorded a song called “Moving To New York” and decided that they needed a remix by The Touch that they stuck on a fine piece of 12″ plastic white label together with remixes by Paul Van Dyk (… let’s just say he’s not on my top 3 “artists I thought I’d end up in the company with”-list…) and Atlantic Conveyour and called it WOMRMX1.

I believe the 12″ is a pretty limited run so you better buy yourself a copy immediately. If you want one, that is.

Visit The Wombats .co.uk or that other site.
