Playing around with the Hobnox Audio Tool. Pretty fun. Sounds like crap though.

Just thought I’d chuck the video for a song I co-wrote here. Nifty stuff.
Video magic by Jesper Bolmén.
Buy the track at iTunes. I’m also responsible for the Waa!Fi!-remix.

The Knuckledusters have turned in a pretty massive remix for Tony Thomas, if I may say so myself. We’re talking serious summer tunage. Check it out on Beatport.

“Though early shows were as much alcohol-fueled dadaesque performance art as anything else (the three members dressed in jester’s outfits and singing songs with titles like “Ode to Charles the Goat”), the trio quickly progressed into a spiky blend of danceable indie rock, Murph’s sardonic lyrics, and high-energy pop hooks.”
… and then they got pretty famous, recorded a song called “Moving To New York” and decided that they needed a remix by The Touch that they stuck on a fine piece of 12″ plastic white label together with remixes by Paul Van Dyk (… let’s just say he’s not on my top 3 “artists I thought I’d end up in the company with”-list…) and Atlantic Conveyour and called it WOMRMX1.
I believe the 12″ is a pretty limited run so you better buy yourself a copy immediately. If you want one, that is.
Visit The Wombats .co.uk or that other site.

Out today on Belgium’s finest Wanted Music: Brismoux – Losing You Remixes EP. This digital only release features a solid electro house remix by Gentle Nite and a Lynch-ish techno nightmare of a remix by Mr. Mau. Think of them as a pair: one for the mirror ball clubs at peak time and one for the factory floor raves in the afterhours.
Available at iTunes, Juno Download and other places all over the interwebs.

Pacific! is without a doubt the best band of 2007. Possibly the best band of the entire millennium.
That said it feels extra great to point you in the direction of the remix of Sunset Blvd by The Touch (of which I am one third etc.). It’s online as a white label mp3 for now and can be heard on either Pacific!’s or The Touch’s Myspace-pages.
Edit and update: Now also on zShare. Download all you want.

Today, the 24th of September 2007 is a proud day for me. The reason is the release of my very first 12″ under my very own funky house moniker Brismoux. The track is called “Losing You”, is out on Belgium’s finest Wanted Music (catalogue number WM003) and features Mike Albert on vocals. The two remixes are by NDKj and Wanted Music’s resident producers U&Me. It’s available pretty much everywhere that serves dance music vinyl releases. Also available as digital download on iTunes and in other places across the internet.

While we’re on the subject of Wanted Music, you really want to get WM001: U&Me – Kiss Her Lips. It’s a real gem. (iTunes)

Today sees the digital release of Addeboy Vs Cliff’s new Ep “Fine House”. The Touch has contributed one of the two remixes on the initial release. Have a listen to it (and, by all means, buy it) at iTunes.
